Our Story · Family Owned & Operated

Two Brothers and a Dream.

We're Reid and Ryan Reilly — two brothers who set out to raise the standard of senior care in Tucson, and to build the kind of home we'd want for our own family.

The Dream

Raising the Standard of Care —Through Christ's Love.

Heritage Oaks didn't begin with a business plan. It began with a conviction — that the people who spent their lives caring for everyone else deserve to be cared for beautifully in return, with dignity, joy, and the warmth of a real family home.

We are two brothers who believe serving others is a God-given calling. Our mission is simple, and we hold to it without compromise: through the love of Christ, to become the very best assisted living and memory care provider in the country — pursued, every single day, by God's strength and grace alone.

Our Heritage

A Family Rooted in Faith, Medicine & Service.

Our family has called Tucson home since the 1950s. Our grandfather, Robert J. "Bob" Reilly, was born in Brooklyn and trained as a physician at Columbia. He came west with our grandmother, Diane — a Columbia-educated nurse — and together they built both a family and Urological Associates of Southern Arizona.

But more than a medical practice, they built a legacy of faith and love. They taught us that a life well lived is a life spent serving others — and that conviction is the soil Heritage Oaks grew from.

Where It Began

We Learned to Serve Before We Learned to Lead.

As boys, our grandfather brought us alongside him on medical mission trips — to Africa, to Mexico, and to communities in need wherever there was work to be done. Our parents carried that tradition forward, taking us on missions of their own.

Somewhere across those years — kneeling beside people who had little, yet welcomed us with everything — serving stopped being something we did and quietly became who we are.

The Path

Where Business Meets Calling.

We both graduated from the University of Arizona's Eller College of Business — and somewhere along the way we realized something. Senior care was the rare place where we could do what we're good at and what we love most: build something excellent, and serve people deeply, at the very same time.

So we did the work. We became certified caregivers and certified assisted living facility managers, surrounded ourselves with longtime, trusted advisors, and set out to build the home we'd want for our own grandparents.

Our Philosophy

People Over Profit.

The senior care industry too often runs the other way — cutting corners, nickel-and-diming families, and saving a dollar wherever it can. We built Heritage Oaks to be the opposite. We put our money where our mission is.

Enrichment, Not Filler

We pour into daily live music, real activities, and moments of genuine joy. A full life shouldn't end at our front door.

We Pay Our Team Well

The people caring for your loved one should be valued, supported, and here to stay — so we invest in them generously.

Dining Worth Sitting For

Chef-prepared, high-end meals — steak and salmon nights, not reheated trays. Good food is good care.

Always Getting Better

We're relentless about innovation and excellence. We're not perfect — but we keep open, honest communication with every family and make things right.

Our Mission

To Be the Hands and Feet of Jesus.

Caring for our residents is not a job to us. We believe it is a God-given calling — and the very purpose of our lives.

Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus: to love and serve every resident as family, and to become the very best assisted living and memory care community in the world. Not by our own strength, but by God's grace alone.

"We don't want anyone to simply exist with us — we want every resident to thrive, feeling like family, and free to live the life they choose."

The Two of Us

Owners on the Floor,Every Single Day.

We're not a faceless corporation in another state. We're two brothers who know our residents by name — and who you can call directly, anytime.
